For my senior thesis, I created an informational book using a chapter from Stewart Brand's Whole Earth Discipline about the environmental and global benefits of genetically engineered crops. While the running text was taken from Brand's book, additional data, captions, footnotes, images, maps and infographics I compiled and created to compliment the text.

Design manifesto to encourage designers to seek sustainable design practices in their work. Laser cut plastic stencils to promote sustainability in design, packaged in a recycled envelope that unfolds to reveal the complete manifesto printed inside.

Article and cover design for Zine. The article is about mountaintop removal mining that is occurring in Appalachia and the damage it is doing to the environment. The zine includes 6 other articles on social and political issues, from contributing authors.

For this collaborative project, I worked with two other designers to develop an iPad app for university students, consolidating all course materials, calendars, academic and financial information, as well as university resources into a single, easy to use, application, which we named 'Sphere.' After developing the concept and key features for this application, as the identity designer, I created the logo and identity for the Sphere brand, which we then applied to the iPad screens, as well as additional Sphere promotional materials.

For this project I redesigned my monthly electricity bill, a document that reaches over a million Missouri costumers a month, however lacks the essential clarity needed in such a functional piece of information. 

Book jacket created for murder-mystery novel "The Interpreter of Flotsam." Imagery for the book jacket was created with cut-out letters, projected light and gold tissue paper.
